1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using English for Tech Leads (the “Service”), operated by Tech Lead Core, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

English for Tech Leads is a self-service digital audio course designed for Latin American Tech Leads. The Service consists of pre-recorded audio lessons organized in sprints, accessible via a web platform at english.techleadcore.com.

The Service is entirely self-paced and self-service. It does not include live coaching, 1-on-1 sessions, personalized feedback, tutoring, or any other real-time or customized educational services. Tech Lead Core provides access to course content only.

3. Purchase and Payment

All payments for the Service are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By purchasing access to a Sprint or bundle, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service and privacy policy.

Prices are displayed and charged in US Dollars (USD). Available purchase options include individual Sprints and course bundles. Payment is a one-time charge — there are no recurring subscriptions unless explicitly stated at checkout. Access is granted immediately upon successful payment confirmation.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your purchase date at academia@techleadcore.com and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.

Refund requests received after 30 days from the purchase date will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at Tech Lead Core's sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

All content available through the Service — including but not limited to audio lessons, course scripts, frameworks, methodologies, branding, and platform code — is the exclusive intellectual property of Tech Lead Core. All rights are reserved.

Purchasing access to the Service grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course content for your individual learning purposes only. This license does not grant you any ownership rights over the content.

6. User Accounts

To access purchased content, you must create an account using our authentication provider (Clerk). You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at academia@techleadcore.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. Tech Lead Core is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Share, redistribute, resell, or sublicense access to the course content to any third party.
• Share your account credentials with others to provide unauthorized access to the Service.
• Download, copy, record, or reproduce audio content outside the platform.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than your personal learning.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or collect content from the Service.

Violations may result in immediate termination of your account without refund and may subject you to legal action.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Tech Lead Core does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or language proficiency results from using the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tech Lead Core shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. In no event shall Tech Lead Core's total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount paid by you for the specific purchase giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Chile, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chile.

11. Changes to Terms

Tech Lead Core reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
